Sherwood Neiss (‘Woodie’) is one of the three entrepreneurs who helped change a 78 year old securities law for legalizing crowdfunding in the US. He was inspired by the fact that while he and his friends were regular investors in crowdfunding places like Kiva and Kickstarter, there was nothing similar for the United States. Read more here.
