Egypt allocates US$1.2 billion for water, sanitation in 2013-2014

NADWS, or Egypt’s National Authority for Drinking Water and Sanitation has decided to invest a total of US$1.2 billion in national projects for drinking water and sanitation during the 2013-2014 financial year. This will include setting up of a number of new drinking water plants, and large treatment plants. Read more here.
