Estimating Willingness to Pay for Improved Stoves in Rural China Using Averting Behaviour Method

Using household level data gathered by the World Bank and the Government of China in 2002-2006 regarding indoor air pollution causes and behaviour of people regarding the same, Fei Yu of Asian Development Bank has estimated the willingness of households to pay for improved cookstoves.
