Ghana reaches safe water-access target
According to Chief Field Officer of the UNICEF, Clara Dube, Ghana has achieved its Millennium Development Goal (MDG) for access to safe drinking water to its citizens. The MDG target demanded coverage of 78 per cent while Ghana now boasts of 82 per cent coverage of drinking water. Read ore here.
