Global Institute for Food Security launched

A new institute called the Global Institute for Food Security has been launched at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon. This is a timely project given that the world’s population will reach 9 billion by 2050. To feed this population, the world’s farmers must escalate their output by 70 per cent. Read more here.
