Haiti, fish farming and the Clinton Foundation’s help

This post talks about Dr Valentine Abe’s recognition of the potential for fish farming and fishing agriculture in Haiti, where lakes are severely overfished. A successful first hatchery made it clear that this could provide a means to sustainable livelihood to many Haitians and this is when he received help from the Clinton Foundation to expand his project’s reach, which covered not only physical creation of hatcheries, but also the creation of a market ecosystem.
