How potatoes can power the world

Researchers over at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem found out a couple of years ago that a potato boiled for 8 minutes can make 10 times more battery power than one that has not been boiled. At one-tenth of the cost of a typical AA battery, a potato can supply power to the underdeveloped world, to charge cell phones, etc. Read more here.
