IFPRI: US drought could pinch the world poor

Drought in the U.S. farm belt may result in higher prices for poor people around the world, according to IFPRI. The head of IFPRI also recommended a halt to the ethanol production from corn both in the US and the UK, so as to help relieve the pressures on both domestic and global food markets.
