India: Delhi to get clean water from the polluted Yamuna river soon

A European Union river bank filtration (RBF) project will soon be helping to provide water as potable as mineral water from the polluted river Yamuna. This project is called the ‘Saph Pani’ project, and will be launched soon in New Delhi, with assistance from the European Union. Other organizations like the Uttrarakhand Jal Sansthan (UJS) are also involved in this. This project will deliver clean water to a number of underserved areas. Read more here.
