| The new Food Security Bill is on the final stages of passing through both houses of the Parliament of the Indian Government. Once implemented, this food bill will ensure food supply to the poor in the country. But, a number of controversies surround the bill, as the previous such food distribution schemes through public channels failed due to ta number of reasons.
