Indian farmers grow micro to re-enrich soils

The Indian state of Karnataka, which consists primarily of smallholder farmers, had been suffering from a stagnated production wherein yields would not grow. A new programme called Bhoo Chetana, or soil rejuvenation has been helping farmers steadily increase their yields by anywhere between 20 to 50 per cent. This has attracted the attention of neighbouring state Andhra Pradesh, as well as of Philippines. Read more here.
