Kenya: Doctors protest against poor state of healthcare in the country

The healthcare conditions in Kenya couldn’t be worse as emergency rooms usually lack the basic materials like gloves, and medicine, and frequent power outages beset the institutions and doctors often have to use the lights from their cell phones to complete complex procedures on live patients. The doctors in the country have finally taken a stance against this state of affairs by going on a strike against the government’s inaction. Read more here.
