Kiva and Dosomething.org have kickstarted a new campaign “25,000 Women”, to help the women entrepreneurs in developing countries overcome their poverty. Towards this end, the partnership has launched a new mobile game aimed at teenagers. People aged 13 to 25 are targeted, who are “cash poor but rich in time and friends”. The game is simulated after the real conditions faced by women in the developing world. For every 6 friends that the teens share the concept with, a loan of US$25 is made to a woman in the target developing country. Read more here.
