Liberia recently announced a five year investment plan for its WASH sector – water, sanitation and hygiene in the country. A number of years in civil wars has impaired the water and snaitation system in the country, and this investment plan aims to use US$600 million worth of funding from World Bank’s World Sanitation Programme (WSP) to achieve targets, set for 2017.
