Low cost mobile phone device helps fight anaemia

A new device that can be connected to cell phones has been developed that could potentially save hundreds of mothers and children worldwide. The device, called HemoGlobe has the potential of turning the cell phone of a community healthworker into a prick-free system for detecting blood abnormalities. Read more here.
