Mercy Corps, USAID help Gautemalan farmers
An alliance called Inclusive Market Alliance for Rural Entrepreneurs (IMARE), formed by USAID, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc. (GMCR) and Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung (HRNS), is now a part of the US Government’s Feed the Future Presidential Initiative that supports Guatemala’s “Zero Hunger Pact”. This initiative addresses high rates of poverty and malnutrition in Gautemala. Read more here.
