mHealth reduces maternal mortality in Rwanda
In Rwanda, maternal mortality rates have tumbled over a short period of time because of RapidSMS, a text based service which was first piloted as a UNICEF programme. RapidSMS would help women with delivery, care of children within the first year and more through a network of local healthworkers. Read more here.
