MIT develops solar-powered ‘reverse air conditioner’

In some poor communities in the developing world, climes can get very cold. While these regions lack electricity, sunlight is abundant in such places. It is in the colder seasons that the poor people here – be it in their homes or in their hospitals, are unable to access heated water. This is where MIT researchers have made progress, by creating a ‘reverse air conditioner’ method using solar energy. Read more here.
