Myanmar to benefit from microfinance
A new microfinance bill passed by the new progressive government of Myanmar lets a wave of microfinance firms enter the country in the next quarter. According to the latest UN estimates, the country has an appetite for microfinance worth US$650 million, and this amount may vary to US$2 billion when small loans are taken into account.
