Over 90,000 smallholder farmers to benefit from AGRA’s US$5 million project

AGRA (Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa) and the government of Ethiopia have come together to launch a US$5 million fund which will help farmers boost production of crops like maize, teff, barley and wheat. As many as 90,000 smallholder farmers will benefit from this. Read more here.

3D game to help smallholder farmers

A new 3D game has been developed in Abu Dhabi, called ‘Farm Defenders’. This game can be used to train smallholder farmers in Africa. This game was developed through a funding by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Read more here.

South helps South – Indonesian agricultural initiatiatives
