Price of polluting falls as carbon credits get cheaper

The price of carbon has fallen to new lows in world markets, hampering efforts in New Zealand and overseas to improve the environment. The cost for each tonne of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases discharged used to be US$40 and is now US$5. Read more here.
