Tanzania’s silent internet revolution

As is the case in many developing countries, internet education is centric to basic curriculum involving MS Word and suchlike, while the world is undergoing a revolution involving smart phones, tablets and applications that may very well assist in education, healthcare, agriculture and more. The case is so in Tanzania, where the frequently visible cyber cafes, instated at a huge cost to the ICT-favoured country, are being abandoned for cheap Chinese smartphones. Read more here.
