Under the German Food Partnership initiative, which brings some 35 countries and associations from the agricultural industry together, a new project called the Asian German Better Rice Initiative has been launched. This initiative was launched by Bayer CropScience and several industry partners along with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). This initiative seeks to avail for smallholder farmers education and advisory services, management skills, agricultural knowhow and modern technologies. Read more here.
