People in rural areas fall sick the same as those in urban cities, but the lack of trained medical service providers in the villages leaves the rural people with the sole options of informal healthcare providers. 66% of human resource and healthcare facilities in India are in the private sector, and over 50% of private healthcare comes from informal providers.
