Uganda: The benefits of Multifunction Energy Platform (MFP)
Engineers Without Borders (EWB) helped develop MFP (Multifunction Energy Platform), a mounted engine which has several uses – cassava chipper, miller and hullers for rice and maize, and an oil press. This last apparatus is set to help farmers a lot as unprocessed sunflower seeds sell for as much as 3 times lesser than sunflower oil. Read more here.
