US$125 million US-India initative drives WUSTL

As part of the US$125 million US-India Initiative for Clean Energy announced this year, engineers at Washington University in St. Louis (WUSTL) will work on low-cost solar cells as well as systems that integrate solar cells with batteries – a technology that designed to help spread access to solar electricity to areas of the country that have never been electrified.
