USIAD grants US$10 million to Duke University to promote social entrepreneurship in healthcare

USAID, recognizing the potential for universities to create breakthrough developmental solutions has recently granted the Duke University US$10 million as funding for its SEAD programme, or the Social Entrepreneurship Accelerator at Duke. SEAD’s function is to recognize and support global healthcare solutions particularly applicable and apt for low and middle income countries. Read more here.
