World’s biggest healthcare system goes under the knife

This post looks at the revolution that is China’s healthcare system. While teeming and forlorn waiting rooms may be a common sight in most hospitals, the government is playing with a new idea of hospitals within Hong Kong which are the vanguard of China’s healthcare reforms. The country is planning to scale it spending on healthcare to achieve universal coverage from US $357 billion in 2011 to US$1 trillion in 2020. Read more here.
