Zambia’s ‘rotten’ corn shame

Recently news of rotten grain in India became headlines across the world as the poor starved while a food corporation godown protected the grain away from them, which then had rotted. Now, India has been joined in ranks by Zambia. One of Zambia’s warehouses where thousands of bags of corn had been stored seems unsuccessful in putting this very corn to public use, as the corn is now beyond consumption. Read more here.
