Uttar Pradesh, India
HCL Group’s Dadri Development Program (DDP), under its CSR arm Vamasundari Investments (Delhi) Private Limited, has been implementing initiatives across health, education, women’s empowerment, and sports in Dadri Block, Uttar Pradesh. To enhance its long-term impact, the organization sought to move from fragmented interventions to an integrated, evidence-driven strategy that aligns community needs, external ecosystem dynamics, and organizational impact goals over the next 5–10 years.
We were commissioned to undertake a comprehensive landscape study to inform DDP’s future CSR direction. Our team designed and executed a mixed-method research approach comprising extensive desk research, a quantitative household survey, qualitative fieldwork, and stakeholder consultations with government bodies, experts, and community representatives. To strengthen the evidence base, we also analyzed benchmark CSR excellence models to draw lessons for effective program design and delivery. The findings were synthesized into a detailed study report, highlighting priority sectors, investment pathways, and measurable outcome indicators. We validated our insights through a stakeholder workshop involving DDP leadership, implementation partners, and local actors, facilitating alignment on the long-term strategy.
The study provided HCL’s DDP with a strategic roadmap for its next phase of community engagement—offering data-backed priorities, sectoral action frameworks, and a set of indicators to measure social impact. This has enabled the program to transition toward a more integrated, scalable, and outcome-oriented CSR model in Dadri Block.
