India: 20,000 solar lamps distributed in the Kashmir Valley

As of the last financial year, as many as 20,000 solar lamps had been distributed in the Kashmir Valley, at a 50 per cent subsidy. A total of 70,000 lamps have been distributed in the last three years. This was done with government intervention. Read more here.
