Kenya made over US$16.2 billion worth of mobile transactions in 2012
According to data from the Central Bank of Kenya, Kenyan citizens made mobile transactions worth a total of US$16.2 billion in the year 2012. The total number of mobile money subscriptions in the country stood at 20.3 million in November. Read more here.
