Project Ambition

Beyond government sponsored nutrition there are limited options for children from lower income households for affordable nutrition products. The consortium engaged in this program wanted to develop, test and pilot a range of commercially viable B2C nutrition products for urban lower income children and deliver impact. 

Our Solution

Re-emerging World, as a part of the consortium was responsible for leading the market research, insights generation and iterative product testing.

We initially conducted a landscape mapping to gather relevant market intelligence on competitive products, retail channels and existing value propositions. Through secondary research and an exploratory qualitative field research with retailers, consumers and experts we developed insights on affordable nutrition product development for the project.

After completion of the design and development sprints, we helped the consortium in conducting product testing sessions with mothers and children and provided feedback to the R&D team.

Results

Through our exploratory research sprint with consumers and retailers and product testing sessions with mothers and children we helped the consortium develop and arrive at a range of commercially viable affordable nutrition product variants for further testing and piloting.
